  • Description

Even if you don't know Solar Temple or Dead Neanderthals it is very likely that you are familiar with its members' other bands: Fluisteraars, Dool, MNHM or Plague Organ, just to name a few. Together, Solar Temple & Dead Neanderthals carved out their own blend of krautrock-like black metal that's unlike anything else out there. Trance-inducing, primitive and beautiful. Late 2021, two stalwarts of the Dutch underground scene - atmospheric black metal act Solar Temple and experimental blast furnace Dead Neanderthals - decided to team up and write an album together. In the months that followed, they toiled away at 3 lengthy compositions that represented the collaboration of both bands perfectly. Elements of black metal, psych rock and krautrock were at the heart of the music, a heart that was filled with life at Roadburn Festival 2022, where the bands performed and recorded Embers Beget the Divine. For fans of Nusquama, Fluisteraars, Witte Wieven. Vinyl is double LP, with an etched D-side.
