Norman Connors is a soul/jazz legend who was one of the originators of the Quiet Storm sound on such hits as You Are My Starship and who discovered such vocal talents as Phyllis Hyman, Michael Henderson, Glenn Jones, Jean Carne and others. "Star Power" , Norman's first new album in seven years, delivers his trademark romantic jazzy-soul sound on a set of new material plus re-makes of his "Starship" classic and such hits as Michael Jackson's "Rock With You", Dionne Warwick's "Walk On By", and Sade's "No Ordinary Love."
