The current CD represents the first recording of Raff's piano quartets by Schultsz and his Ensemble Il Trittico. The Trio Il Trittico unites three extraordinary, internationally renowned artists under one unique ensemble banner. Enthusiasm and creativity ensure special artistic experiences, characterized by new performance conventions, humor and the great joy the musicians take even in pure entertainment. Il Trittico dedicates itself to the practice of first performances, both of commissioned compositions by contemporary composers and of rediscovered works formerly forgotten or neglected.
