Description
Shattering, jaw-dropping One tends to run out of superlatives when trying to describe what kind of performer the legendary Tim Buckley was on stage. This 2-LP set presents, for the first time on vinyl, the singersongwriter's performance broadcast over New York's WLIR on November 27, 1973, right after the release of the Sefronia album.
Besides offering studio-quality sound, the show documents Buckley's move into R&B and funk, putting his incredible vocal range to work on three songs from the soul-dipped album Greetings from LA and four from Sefronia (including his fantastic take on Fred Neil's "Dolphins"). Buckley also harkens back to the '60s with two favorites, "Buzzin' Fly" and "Pleasant Street." The newly-created gatefold album package features never before seen photos of Buckley and liner notes. Honey-colored vinyl, too Limited to 1000 copies, exclusive for Record Store Day 2019!
