Description
International Music pursues a psychedelic concept in their art. While the music stands in the good tradition from the Velvets to Spacemen 3 to The Jesus & Mary Chain, meaning stoic drums with long echo trails, 60s bass, and distorted wandering guitars in the echo chamber, the almost always two-part German lyrics oscillate between Schlager and Dada, between verbosity and minimalism, and are repeatedly interspersed with lyrical bon mots: For everything, they have words that describe what they see; for everything else, the repertoire is lacking. -
