During 1983-86 US alto saxophonist Bobby Watson recorded fairly regularly for the Italian Red label. On this album he is joined by an obscure but talented Italian rhythm section called the Open Form Trio.
Bobby Watson: "I want our music to reach people, so we try to include a little of everything from jazz: a little swing, some samba, funk, rock, things people hear on the radio".
