  • Description

Brand new release from Philadelphia punks The Dead Milkmen. Their 11th studio album, Quaker City Quiet Pills is the Dead Milkmen’s first new record since 2014. Featuring singles "Astral Dad" and "Grandpa's Not A Racist (He Just Voted For One)", this LP is sure to bring joy to Milkmen fans across the globe.

The 9-year break has been ended by a return to form – which for the Dead Milkmen, means energised punk hooks, irreverent humour, and biting social commentary. If It’s Too Loud describe opening track 'Grandpa's Not a Racist (He Just Voted for One)' as “the closest they've come to sounding like their 80's and 90's selves”.

As with all releases from label The Giving Groove, 50% of proceeds from album sales go to a music non-profit selected with the help of the artist – with the Dead Milkmen choosing Rock to the Future, who equip Philadelphia youth with the skills to support lifelong well-being through free music programs. Rock to the Future founder and CEO Jessica Craft credits the label’s support with the expansion of 'life-transforming access to learning, creating and performing music’.
