Speed of Darkness is Flogging Molly's 5th Studio Album.
Flogging Molly formed in 1997 and comprise vocalist and guitarist Dave King, fiddle player Bridget Regan, guitarist Dennis Casey, accordion player (and former pro skateboarder) Matt Hensley, bassist Nathen Maxwell, drummer George Schwindt, and mandolinist Bob Schmidt.
The record was released on the band's own all-new Borstal Beat Records imprint, with international label management support from Kartel Ltd, London.
Flogging Molly have sold over 2 million albums worldwide with Drunken lullabies selling nearly half a million alone.
One of the hardest touring bands in existence, Flogging Molly will play extensively throughout Europe at Festivals this summer before returning for a full European tour in Autumn 2011.
