  • Description

The Milltown Brothers release new album Boogie Woogie in September 2025 - Boogie Woogie marks a homecoming for the group, lyrically and thematically painting a more positive and lighthearted brush compared to previous releases.

The Lancashire band burst onto the indie scene in 1989 and were quickly tipped for 90s stardom by the NME. The band are best known for their top 40 single Which Way Should I Jump and critically acclaimed 1991 album Slinky. The band parted ways following second album Valve but reunited 10 years later, releasing Rubberband in 2004, which Record Collector described as "a faultless third album". Two further critically acclaimed albums followed. In 2023, the group began writing and rehearsing Boogie Woogie and made their triumphant return to the live stage. The positivity from these sessions are evident in this new ;collection of tracks - Boogie Woogie is a celebration and a call to party!
