This Jay recording is the only complete recording, and because of the nature of the book, which tells the story backwards is finally made comprehensible to the listener with the inclusion of certain key scenes and dialogue. The extended scenes and song settings define the development of characters, relationships and musical motifs clearly as no other recordings do.
This original cast recording features stars such as Maria Friedman (London's Lady In The Dark, Passion, Sunday In The Park With George), Evan Pappas (Broadway's My Favourite Year), Jacqueline Dankworth (London's Into The Woods, Invade My Privacy) and Louise Gold (London's Anything Goes, Nunsense).
