Description
For Esme and Emerson, kindness and sincerity is the core of everything. Growing up together in their Suffolk family home, the pair began writing songs together during Emerson's final year at university and quickly realised how well their creative ideas aligned. They found comfort in their shared musical brain, and discovered a sense of joy reached via their combined creativity and vulnerability
Released earlier in 2024, their first music for Communion Records, Big Leap, No Faith, Small Chancer, asserted Esme Emerson as one of this year's most exciting and assured breakthrough artists. Its explorative balance of gentle melodies and electronic elements comparable to the likes of Big Thief and Slow Pulp won key tastemaker support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing, The Face, Dazed, Rolling Stone UK and many more, while a rapidly sold out debut London headline show and full UK support tour with The Japanese House assisted in growing their dedicated fanbase from the road.
Their second EP lands in 2025, alongside a vinyl which brings together the two bodies of work.
