The Poll Winners label is devoted to the reissue of albums that received the maximum 5-Star review ratings in the iconic jazz magazine, DownBeat, this release features the classic double album produced Ella Fitzgerald Sings the Cole Porter Song Book in its entirety. The first of the celebrated song books recorded by Ella and one of the best vocal jazz albums ever made, the Cole Porter Song Book was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2000, and 2003 it was one of 50 recordings chosen by the Library of Congress in Washington to be added to the National Recording Registry. A live version of "Love for Sale" from the same period, featuring Ella with a small group, has been added as a bonus track.
