Debut album by Bristol band Sliders, an exciting new instrumental quartet taking in elements of psych, motorik, dance music, jazz, and skronk. With an emphasis on improvisation, their influences range from post-rock band Tortoise, MMW (Medeski Martin & Wood) Sonic Youth, and German rock band Can. Featuring four of Bristol's top-flight musicians, their self-titled debut album was recorded by Drezz Dressler (aka Mark Dressler) in his legendary Tape Room analogue recording studio that specializes in multi-track reel-to-reel tape recording.
