  • Description

PAPA BUE'S VIKING JAZZBAND has been in existence for about forty five years, with Papa Bue himself the only survivor from the original band. During that time he has led his bands on tour to over sixty countries and recorded countless albums. This recording from 1977 was a huge hit in his native Denmark on its release, with a festive audience rolicking along to a collection of jazz standards and Danish melodies. Cracking stuff! ARNE "BUE" JENSEN (trombone), OLE STOLLE (trumpet), JORGEN SVARE (clarinet), BJARNE PETERSEN (banjo, vocals), JORN JENSEN (piano), JENS SOLUND (bass), KNUD RYSKOV MADSEN (drums).
