    Orange Mountain Music presents the soundtrack to the new film by Bernard Rose (Candyman, Mr. Nice). The soundtrack is comprised of excerpts of Philip Glass’s best-known works including music from Mishima, Symphonies Nos. 2,3 & 8, Naqoyqatsi and the operas Akhnaten and Satyagraha. Samurai Marathon is directed by Bernard Rose and is scheduled for an early 2020 internationally. These are new recordings of the music performed by the The City of Prague Philharmonic under the baton of Richard Hein. Rose and Glass have a collaborative relationship dating back to 1992. For Samurai Marathon Glass and Rose selected music which best worked for this story. In perhaps a first, rather than a 'temp track' which ultimately be replaced with original music, the film’s producers made new recordings to be specifically adapted to fit the new film.
