The strong cast includes the powerful tenor Tomislav Muzek, as the humble Erik, who loves Senta hopelessly, and the appealing mezzo-soprano Christa Mayer, who sings Mary, supervises the working women and tries to talk some sense into Senta' (The New York Times).
