After celebrating their 40th anniversary in 2017, the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Terje Tonnesen, releases this album of four pieces by Eivind Buene.
The Norwegian Chamber Orchestra has been an outstanding proponent for Norwegian musicianship and music throughout their existence. The collaboration with Eivind Buene (1973) has been fruitful, and the works have been performed all over the world. This year, the composer is writing for the London Sinfonietta and Ensemble Musikfabrik, with performances to be given at several international festivals.
