Description
With the energy of an Entkalker and the temptation of a Muskcatcookie, the German-Italian Clemens Gutjahr Trio play compositions with a strong narrative. Every track sets to music a small story.
Even though the pieces have a clear structure, it is the interaction and spontaneity that characterises the trio. The classic sound of a piano trio is broadened with delicate electronic effects, as can be seen in the current music video Monster. On festival stages, the Jazzopen Stuttgart and Wolkenkuckucksheim Festival, for instance, the three musicians show their incredible joy of playing. They can also be seen in a number of interviews in the French cine film Le Son des Autres. (Artist website)
