There will be a guaranteed Christmas atmosphere and a lot of swing when soul and gospel king Samuel Ljungblahd and Sweden's sharpest big band, Bohusl?n Big Band, release a new Christmas album. The album "The Soul of Christmas" contains a mixture of well-known Christmas classics and the two completely newly written Christmas songs "Believing in Christmas" and "Gift of Love". On two tracks, they also get reinforcement from the supergroup The Mamas. The album will be released on November 18.
The Soul of Christmas is a heartfelt mix of Motown-scented soul, gospel and jazz where Christmas classics are interspersed with newly written material. It is not the first time Samuel Ljungblahd has worked together with the Bohusl?n Big Band. Over the years, they have performed several acclaimed Christmas concerts together and when they now make an release together, they are joined by the three fantastic voices of The Mamas.
