Recorded live, Vladimir Cosma conducts his "Suites Symphoniques" in an outstanding concert performance with the Warsaw Philarmonic at the MUSIC & FILM FESTIVAL in Poznan.
Vladimir Cosma's arrangements from the most famous French soundtracks, include a dazzling interpretation of the Berlin Concerto by the young violonist, Bartek Niziol, winner of the Paganini and Marguerite Long / Jacques Thibaud Prizes.
Jean-Luc Ponty, the brilliant electric violinist and jazz musician, together with Manuel Rocherman, Michel Benita and Aldo Romano, joins Vladimir Cosma in a unique musical encounter. These two extraordinary musicians are reunited again after recording Cosma's very first film score (followed by the theatre and ballet music "Volpone").
Vladimir cosma's participation at this international event was honoured with the "Philip Award" for the greatest Creative Accomplishment in European Film Music.
