Bassist Missy Raines, winner of seven IBMA Bass Player of the Year awards and veteran of Claire Lynch's Front Porch Band and a successful duo with Jim Hurst, realizes a life-long dream with the release of her first album, Inside Out.
Along with her band, The New Hip (Dillon Hodges– guitars, Ethan Ballinger – mandolin, mandola, and Michael Witcher – resophonic guitar, lap steel, vocals), Raines brings together jazz, bluegrass, pop and funk forms to push the bounds of bluegrass and secure her place as one of the most innovative musicians in the business.
