Clear vinyl. "Un Vaso De Agua" (A Glass Of Water) is the debut full-length LP from Marinita Precaria after the Mini-LP "No Me Mireis". Marina Gomez is one of those figures that turns pop into art. She turns baring her feelings into an ode to the beauty of human idiosyncrasy. The melodies she writes become the expression of the spaces between the words in the lyrics. Marina was born in Cordoba, but came to Madrid to study, where she began to work as an architect and designer. In June 2020, like so many other people, she found herself unemployed. Losing your job and buying a keyboard; it's not the most common reaction, but it was that inexplicable impulse that allowed Marina Gomez to take the leap that would turn her into Marinita Precaria. Or, what amounts to the same thing, into a home-loving troubadour in the times of post-pandemic crisis. An unelected representative of the ills and passions of generation Z, voiced in an aesthetic language that will not sound out of place to anyone who has listened to Le Mans, Family, La Bien Querida and so many other names from the Elefant label.
