This monumental box set presents, for the first time on a single release, all the existing songs recorded by the great Nat King Cole with orchestras conducted and/or arranged by the equally great Nelson Riddle. Cole and Riddle started their extended collaborations in 1950 and continued to work together regularly for a whole decade until 1960, when Ralph Carmichael became Cole's main conductor.
The songs are presented here chronologically in session order, and are accompanied by a comprehensive booklet including rare photos, memorabilia , and detailed information on the dates.
Along with well know classics such as "Unforgettable" and "Mona Lisa", this collection presents dozens of rarely heard and hard to find songs which had never been issued before in their proper context.
