The young pianist Claire Huangci strikes a wonderful balance of tempi and phrasing. Together with the Brandenburgisches Staatsorchester Frankfurt (Oder) under the direction of Howard Griffiths, an incredibly fresh and energetic performance of these three extraordinary works by Beethoven is achieved.
