With an epic wide-screen sound full of rousing choruses, wailing guitars, marching towards Valhalla drum rolls and intricate lyrical themes soaked in myth and legend, Beltane Fire were not your run-of-the-mill rock band.
Kerrang! magazine gave the album a heavy-duty KKKK1/2 rating and heralded it as a distinctive and attractive alternative to the mainstream flow of things and concluded that Beltane Fire were a band with their own firm identity. A very successful tour in 1984-85 as support act to Marillion.
Includes eight bonus tracks. and the band are reforming in 2017
