Description
A solo album by Klaudiusz Baran, one of the most recognizable accordionists in the world, is devoted entirely to 20th-century Russian accordion music. Belonging to the canon of the accordion repertoire, the sonatas by Vladislav Zolotaryov, Alexander Nagayev and Albin Repnikov share the traits of tragedy and reflection on life but in the shadow of death. Although these works were created within just ten years of the second half of the 20th century, no accordionist has yet dared to confront them with each other on one album. Until now.
