Description
This is the famous Atlantic recording from 1956, one of the greatest blues albums of all time, newly remastered in stereo by great sound wizard Dave Bennett. This album reunited Joe Turner with classic boogie pianist Pete Johnson and also featured Joe Newman (trumpet), Lawrence Brown (trombone), Pete Brown (alto sax), Frank Wess (tenor sax), Freddie Green (guitar), Walter Page (bass) and Cliff Leeman (drums) amoung others. This CD also features 11 tracks that showcase Joe in 1955-56 aiming for the jukebox and hit parade markets.
