Description
The innovative French-Spanish trio Jerez-Texas was born out of the 2002 meeting of a flamenco guitarist (Ricardo Esteve), a classical cellist (Matthieu Saglio) and a jazz drummer (Jesus Gimeno). More than the musical knowledge of each player, and their impressive virtuosity and sense of melody, it is the friendship shared by the three men that gives the trio its individuality. Knowledgeable yet always accessible, technically proficient yet sensual, the music of Jerez-Texas addresses equally the connoisseur and the average music lover. On this release they are variously augmented by three vocalists, a clarinet player, an accordion player, a guitarist and a percussionist.
