Description
Spats Langham and Martin Litton have been happily carving out an enviable reputation on the UK Traditional Jazz scene for the last few years. Their music is rooted in the 1920s and '30s, interest in which seems to be enjoying something of a resurgence at the moment.
Thomas 'Spats' Langham is a guitarist, banjo player and vocalist. His idols are Ukelele Ike, Eddie Lang and Harry Reser. Martin Litton is a BA Honours graduate in music who specialises in 'stride' piano. He recently presented a series of programmes for BBC Radio on the work of the legendary pianist, Earl Hines. They make an interesting and entertaining duo underpinned by superb musicianship.
