JOHN ABERCROMBIE is a sensitive guitarist who successfully incorporates many styles in service of his own unique sound. And MARC COPLAND, the group's administrative leader (though musically they are most definitely a collective), is a pianist who's at home with subtly reconstituting harmonic terrain.
