Presented here is the complete album 'Easy Does It', recorded in 1959 and featuring him as the main soloist.
Carlos Manuel "Charlie" Palmieri (1927-1988) was born in the South Bronx, New York, after his parents migrated from Puerto Rico, in 1926. During his extended career, Palmieri collaborated with his brother Eddie, Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Herbie Mann, Ismael Rivera, Rafael Cortijo, Ismael Quintana, Bobby Capo, Mongo Santamaria, Cal Tjader, and Ray Barretto, among many others.
