The Liverpool connection runs through the family itself: the boys’ mother, Zi Lan Liao, grew up in the city and it’s where her father established the Pagoda Chinese Youth Orchestra - in which John T and Charlie were soloists. Mystic Liverpool is psychedelic in the truest sense - a mystical, immersive journey into songs that have always pointed east, now heard through the family that lives between those worlds. The CD digipak comes with an 8-page booklet featuring liner notes by Jah Wobble.
