Iyeoka's fourth album, 'Gold', was released in 2016. The 59-minute album with 13 tracks is musically mature, complex, and significantly more varied than previous album 2010's 'Say Yes'. The reggae opener with its great brass sections is already thrilling. The title track "Gold" and "Every Second Every Hour" also go in a similar direction. Other highlights include the incredibly rocking "Akomen of Udomi" at the end, in which she also pays homage to her Nigerian roots, the Nina Simone cover version "Sinnerman," and the quiet ballad "Sweet Song," in which she tells the story of her grandmother - touching and melancholic, highlights of the album.
