Description
The complete album + 7 bonus tracks - limited edition pressing on 180g vinyl.
This release features one of The Ventures' finest LPs: their superb debut 'Walk, Don't Run'(1960), which features a mix of originals and hits drawn from several genres, including earlier Rock 'N' Roll, R&B and even film music. Under the leadership of guitarist Bob Bogle, the band members applied their twangy, high-energy sound to dozens of albums.
This music goldmine was originally issued by the Dolton label, and although The Ventures weren't the first instrumental group of the rock era, it was one of the most successful and enduring. In popularity, The Ventures were on equal status as The Shadows.
Includes the bonus tracks 'Yellow Jacket' / 'Lullaby Of The Leaves' / 'Perfidia' / 'Apache' / 'Pipeline' / '(Ghost) Riders In The Sky'.
