Description
Glasgow indie four-piece St Dukes release their second full length album in February 2027 - Titled 'LP TWO' (a nickname that stuck during recording), the 15-track album was recorded live to tape with producer Chris McCrory at his 'Workshop' studio. The band describe their process as purposely made to feel 'unfussy and not overthought', dialling things back to capture the live 'in the room' feeling. With influences ranging from Wednesday to the Pixies to The Strokes, St Dukes continue to build on the atmospheric sound they've been evolving since 2014. With signature fuzzy guitars and double vocals, the tracks navigate the growing pains of getting older and the ups and downs of everyday life. The more introspective tracks are complimented by a reminder to not take life too seriously, album opener and sunny new single 'Is It Now?' tells a relatable tale of spending a weekend hanging with friends. 'LP TWO' is released by independent label Last Night From Glasgow on Steel Blue coloured vinyl pressed by Seabass Vinyl, Scotland's only manufacturing plant. The album is also available on CD and digital formats.
