  • Description

Greetings From Gartnavel is the brand new album from Amy Duncan, with lyrics written by David Paton - Written partly from the psychiatric ward, Greetings From Gartnavel gives a warm and unusual insight into David's experiences with schizophrenia - Amy plays piano, guitar and double bass, with Graeme Miller on electric guitar and synthesizer, reflecting the light and dark of these extraordinary lyrics, through sparse arrangements and off kilter sounds - The album is engineered and co-produced by Mark Freegard and mastered by Paul McGeechan.

Amy Duncan is a classically trained double bass player with a passion for songwriting. Her debut album Pilgrimage was released in 2006. In 2024, Amy connected with label Last Night From Glasgow to release Wake, also a collaboration between Amy and David Paton. Wake was written by David in the wake of his brother Iain's suicide.

Greetings From Gartnavel is pressed on blue vinyl by Seabass Vinyl and released by Last Night From Glasgow in early 2026.
