  • Description

"Hollow Bone" is the latest track from NSW metalcore trailblazers In Hearts Wake and the first single from their 6th studio album - Incarnation out July 12. Their previous release Kaliyuga (2020) landed #3 on the Aria Charts and was highly praised by fans and press alike with KERRANG! stating "In Hearts Wake have delivered an LP with the substance and accessibility to touch the widest possible audience - and the quality to cement their place at the top table of Aussie metalcore." & UPSET saying "Like being shaken awake, there is a sense of immediacy and urgency that goes far beyond that of a band releasing a new record. The stakes on this one are sky-high".

Thematically, Incarnation is considered as the inverse of the seminal In Hearts Wake album Divination - returning to the concept of each song being focused on a particular Major Arcana Tarot card, Incarnation is the concept flipped upside down. Each song explores the underbelly; an album standing diametrically opposite to Divination in sound, and theme.

"Farewell" is the latest track from Byron Bay metalcore band In Hearts Wake and first song to be released on their unannounced new album. The new track is the final song written with bassist/singer Kyle Erich who has been in the band since their debut record Divination (2011).

"We had a band night chatting around the campfire and Kyle's wishes to leave the band caught us all by surprise. Distilling his 12 year journey down to a 4 minute song was a real challenge".

"I am so proud of all 5 of us and how we navigated things. To be able to create this song together. Kyle was whole heartedly willing to be part of this song, without feeling like he was hanging on- to say Farewell in the right way. Looking back it was a really rare and special experience".(Singer Jake Taylor)
