Gulf Coast Records was founded by Mike and Laura Zito and Guy Hale in 2018.

The label is based in Nederland, TX and is focusing on Regional Roots, Blues and Americana genres. The mutual passion of the founders is to lift up artists and help them get their music out to the world.

Recent projects include I Love Freddie King by Popa Chubby and Friends, a tribute to blues legend Freddie King, with contributions from Joe Bonamassa and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and Live To Be This by The Boneshakers, featuring powerhouse vocals from Jenny Langer and guitar mastery by Randy Jacobs, alongside special guests like Bobby Rush and Charlie Musselwhite.
