    Golden Earring's final performance took place in Rotterdam on Saturday evening, 16 November 2019. When guitarist/singer and co-founder of the band George Kooymans announced in February 2021 that he would no longer be able to perform due to health problems, it meant the abrupt end of Golden Earring after sixty years. It also meant that the group would never perform on stage again. Time to take the recordings of the Ahoy concert off the shelf. The artwork - based on an idea by Barry Hay - consists of a replica of the original concert poster, but also includes a collage of photos sent in by Golden Earring fans over the past year. The result is the double CD/DVD entitled You Know We Love You! - Live Ahoy 2019. A worthy farewell that the band and their fans more than deserve.
