'Roméo & Leila' tells the story of an improbable love between two very different people. It is a love that is not supposed to be, but, unlike the tragic stories of Romeo & Juliet and Layla & Majnun, this one does not end tragically.
'Roméo & Leila' is a reflection on the problems of citizenship and the dynamics of identities. As the title indicates, it is the meeting of two beings, today, coming each from a different culture, a different religion and a different country. But more than anything else, it is about Leila's struggle with herself and against her own demons.
