Description
Okay, is there anyone out there who thinks we don't give them anything? Well - you miserable snivelling creature - cast your eyes over this lot and weep. Yep, after the autumn's Stax for (not much) cash scandal we return with four albums full to the brim with the best grooves you could ever hope for. Dressing up in a completely different set of threads - say somewhere close to ghetto pimp chic - brings us into the world of THE BEST OF BLAXPLOITATION. And as difficult as it is to walk let alone dance in your four inch platforms this music makes it quite difficult to do anything else. Thrill to Isaac Hayes' three epic tunes, swoon to Donald Byrd's sensual trumpet and cry at the spine-tingling emotion of Millie Jackson's It Hurts So Good. Big Screen music with the panoramic effect.
