  • Description

Freeze The Atlantic return with their hugely anticipated second album via Alcopop! Records. Featuring ex-members of Hundred Reasons (Andy Gilmour) & Reuben (Guy Davies), it is an anthemic call to arms, all big riffs and power-vocals - in short, it's ace!

'Freeze The Atlantic' is a powerhouse of a second album which combines the energy and passion of their live shows with the hooks and great songwriting displayed in their first album from the start. With colossal tracks like 'Welcome Back To Nibelheim', 'The Last Great Train Robbery' and the ferociously infectious first single 'Stompbox', the band hasn't pulled any punches. New vocalist Liv Puente also gets to showcase an avalanche of vocal dexterity, from the relentless 'This Fight' to moments of honest and delicate fragility in the haunting 'Everything all the time'; it's songs like these that have allowed the band to explore and display greater depths in their writing.

After numerous headline and support tours with the likes of Fighting With Wire, Sucioperro and Attack! Attack! across the UK and Ireland, including festival appearances at 2000 Trees, Y-Not and Truck among many others, the band will celebrate their second album release with a full UK tour in May and June 2014 followed by various festival performances this summer (see dates below).
