Description
Gordon Gunn is one of Scotland's top fiddlers and a member of the hugely popular group Session A9.
He also has his own Gordon Gunn Band, which includes Brian McAlpine (keyboards and also a member of Session A9) and Phil Anderson (guitar) and recorded the album 'Shoreside' with Greentrax in 2000.
Gordn is a highly regarded composer and his slow airs have been hailed as the very finest.
Gordon is accompanied on 'Wick To Wickham' by the very best of session musicians: Brian McAlpine (keyboards), Phil Anderson (guitar), Marc Clement (guirtars), David (Chimp) Robertson (percussion), Tim Edey (melodeon) and Marc Duff (whsitles).
This is certainly not just 'another' fiddle album but a big exciting band sound. -
