Larry Clinton was one of the most talented musicians of the swing/jazz era of the thirties and forties, regularly topping the Hit Parade with his imaginative Big Band arrangements. This CD presents his very fine 1950s album 'Larry Clinton In Hi Fi', in which he revisits some of his greatest hits, such as "Deep Purple", "Our Love" and his all-time biggest success, "My Reverie". Bonus tracks include recordings from his album 'Songs for Tired Golfers'. The vocals are in the wonderfully talented hands of Helen Ward and Helen Forrest.
