Description
This comprehensive 3-CD box set titled "Discography - A Complete Pickle," features the original album, non-LP singles, numerous unreleased tracks and provides an extensive overview of Fickle Pickle's work including booklet with rare photos and extensive sleeve notes.
Fickle Pickle was formed in a North-West London-based studio band active in the early 1970s, comprising producers, engineers, and session musicians. The lineup featured Cliff Wade (lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass), Geoff Gill (drums) from The Smoke, Wil Malone (piano, organ, electric piano) from Orange Bicycle, and Steve Howden (lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass) from Red Dirt. All members contributed vocals.
In 1970, they released the album "Sinful Skinful," which was distributed exclusively in the Nether-lands. This album showcased their ability to blend melodic pop with psychedelic influences. Notably, their cover of Paul McCartney's "Maybe I'm Amazed" gained attention, especially since McCartney had not released it as a single.
