Roberto Tombesi is one of the historical protagonists of Italian folk revival and founded the historic ensemble Calicanto, contributing internationally to spread and revitalize the music of Venetian tradition and northern Adriatic.
This is his first solo album entirely dedicated to melodeon and the Venetian traditional dances collected and disseminated in a lifetime of research and concerts.
32 traditional dances, from Dolomites to Venice lagoon areas, which are here arranged and returned to the art of dancing and listening enjoyment with refined and elegant simplicity. -
