The album is another "Fats" achievement from his most inspired years, and it is a terrifically entertaining listen. It provides a glimpse of Fats Domino mixing pop, country and honky-tonk arrangements into his New Orleans R&B gumbo.
In addition to the original album, this Vinyl Lovers collector's LP also includes 2 bonus tracks from the same period: the staple "It's You I Love," and the great rocking hit "Be My Guest." Fats' music is just as enjoyable today as when it was recorded. Its happy simplicity and its indomitable beat never gets old.
