Description
For his eighth album at NEOS, Rene Wohlhauser has put together a selection of world premiere recordings of works for various ensemble combinations. In addition to the two solo works "Cellissimo graduale" for cello and "Mikosch… lost in the Ultra Deep Field" for piano, the "Trio for Flute, Clarinet and Cello No. 2" and the "Quartet for Flute, Clarinet, Violin and Cello No. 1" can be heard.
Moreover, Wohlhauser presents three vocal works in different formations. With "Geworf'ne Akrobaten", "Klumpengesang" (both so called "Schand- und Maul-Gedichte" from "Drei Rotzlieder") and "Im lauteren Sein", he has set his own poems to music, as on earlier publications of the Wohlhauser Edition.
