Description
Dave Pegg (Fairport Convention's bassist since 1969, Jethro Tull's from 1979-1995) and PJ Wright (the guitar, vocals of Little Johnny England, Steve Gibbons Band 1980-99) met while recording the first Dylan Project album and quickly recognised their shared musical tastes and influences.
Fairport's Winter Tour 2006, when PJ was the opening solo turn, saw the pair coming up with an evening of eclectic roots music peppered with amusing tales and anecdotes drawn from a combined seventy seven glorious years as professional musicians. This formed the catylist for their debut CD together. -
