Taken from various venues, and with slight variations of personnel, Live Extracts contains superb examples of spontaneous music, filled with atmosphere and delicate brilliance as well as echoes of Jimi Hendrix and Miles Davis. A guitarist with a unique musical vision Aarset has worked with Bill Laswell, Dhafer Youssef, Jon Hassell, Jan Garbarek, Marilyn Mazur, Talvin Singh and Andy Sheppard.
